Love yourself!

Loving oneself is truly something that we women find difficult to do. We spread love everywhere else. However, when it comes to loving and nurturing ourselves, well... we come up short. Can we truly and whole heartedly love others if we don't love ourselves? I don't think so.

Self love means, loving yourself inside and out; loving who you are. When you have it, you can give out love to others so much more freely and genuinely.

Ladies, when you look in the mirror each day, do you criticize yourself or do you say, "you are beautiful"? I almost always criticized myself; not loving the image that looked back at me. It was not until recent years that I'd begun to see what others may have seen; a beautiful person on the inside and the outside.

I may not say it everyday, but when I look in the mirror I do say, "hey beautiful." I've learned to love myself with all of my flaws. I've learned to appreciate and love who I am on the inside. I believe that my beauty shines from within.

Loving yourself, is loving everything about you despite what may not be perfect. We are to love ourselves, flaws and all...mistakes and all...sins and all.

God almighty loves us in all of our mess and all of our brokenness. Why can't we love ourselves?

Ladies, make it a point to love you. Look in the mirror and affirm yourselves daily. Remind yourself of how great you are. Love on all of your flaws; embrace them.

I declare today, that I love me some me! I am fearfully and wonderfully made by the creator. I am learning to see what He sees.

Ladies, start practicing, look yourself in the eye and first , ask yourself, "self, do I love you?" Reflect on that. If the answer is no, we have work to do, Start with baby steps.

Your homework is to write down something that you love about yourself and say it everyday for the next week. Please make comments at the end of the week to say how it made you feel.
