Be YOU-nique

I DARE YOU TO BE YOUR UNIQUE AND BEAUTIFUL SELF! There is none other like you. When you were created, the mold was not used again. It was only used for you. Your hair texture, you eyes, nose, fingers, toes and eyelashes are all unique and so is the inside of you. While you may look very much like someone in your family, no two of us are exactly alike. Even the identical twins have something that makes them unique. While we may have similar gifts; gifts of drawing, writing, singing, encouraging, praying...there is something different about them.

I challenge you to just be who you are. Be the person that you were created to be. Stop allowing people to determine who you are, what you should do, what you should wear or what job you should take or seek. Do not be boxed in to what others say you should be. Be free to be the person that you were created to be.

If you are struggling with who you are or trying to find yourself, take extra time to do so. Drown out the outside noise and focus on you and only you.

Once you are free to be you, you'll be surprised what negative forces will lift from you. Your mind will be less confused. Your spirit will be lighter. You'll feel free. A weight will be lifted from your body.

Many of us look at what we are not. STOP IT! This week only focus on what and who you are.

You are great! You are unique! You have lots to offer!

Trying to fit in someone else's box can cause feelings of anxiety and depression. Who wants that? Who wants to feel sad because you can't figure out whose description or prescription to use? Use your own guide.

The Bible tells us that we are fearfully and WONDERFULLY made! Be in your UNIQUENESS, IN YOUR WONDERFULLNESS; YOUR BEAUTIFUL SELF!
